Our Properties

  • The Edna Martin Wildlife Refuge                                                                       A 27 acre property located on Rt 114 donated by long time resident, Edna Martin. The refuge has a range of diverse habitats surrounding Burr's Pond. Open to the public for hiking and nature study.
  • Lincoln Pond                                                   Donated by the Burgher family, this 3 acre pond and surrounding woodland is home to a diversity of wildlife.
  • Prospect Street Area Conservation Easements  Although not publicly accessible, these easements protect over 150 acres of green space, providing a critical greenway and wildlife habitat corridor for central Seekonk.
  • Cushing Conservation Area                                 Given by the Cushing family and dedicated to past SLCT President, Gerie Zaretsky, this 11 acre site is open to the public with a maintained trail and seating area by the pond.
