Our annual meeting will take place on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 6:30 PM, at the Seekonk Public Library, featuring keynote speaker, retired Brown University professor Rob Emlen. Professor Emlen studies the historical landscape of rural New England and will speak about the “Stone Walls of Seekonk.” Please join us!

Land Trust Holds Annual Meeting
Highlights of our annual meeting on April 9th included the Mary C. Wilson Community Conservation Award presentation to Seekonk resident James Viara; Guest speaker Erin Flynn, from the Public Archaeology Lab, speaking about local projects; and SLCT President Tom Webb, who summarized our activities and accomplishments during the past year.
Sarah Newkirk Awarded Mary Wilson Award at Land Trust Annual Meeting
On April 16, 2024, the Seekonk Land Conservation Trust held its annual meeting at the Seekonk Public Library. Sarah Newkirk, the founding director of Osamequin Farm, was awarded the Mary C. Wilson Community Conservation Award for her significant contributions to conservation in Seekonk.
Mary C. Wilson Award Honors the Medeiros Family
The family of the late Anthony Medeiros received the prestigious annual Mary C. Wilson Community Conservation Award for their significant contributions to conservation in Seekonk.
